**FULL QUESTION:**
Dear Gardening Life,
I am interested in purchasing a *Gunnera manicata* plant, a hardy banana tree plant and a *Miscanthus sinensis* ‘Giganteus’ plant. Can you tell me where I might get these? I live in Toronto.
*—Penny Bell*
**ANSWER:**
Hi Penny,
Humber Nurseries in Brampton lists both the *Gunnera* and *Miscanthus* (which is also sometimes still listed as *M. floridulus*). I understand Sheridan Nurseries was going to carry the banana, so it would be worth calling your local Sheridan store to see if they have them. If not and you can go a little farther afield, A World of Gardens in Brockville, ON, lists the hardy banana; in fact, they list two.
Good luck!
