Citrus mascarpone with caramelized apple and fig
Sweet and tart flavours mingle in this marscarpone spread
##INGREDIENTS (makes 1/2 cup)##
* 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
* 1 tbsp fig jam
* 1 tsp finely chopped lemon zest
* 1 Granny Smith apple, cored
* 1 tbsp unsalted butter
* 2 dried figs, quartered
* 1/3 cup brown sugar
* Clover honey, for drizzling
