Four summery twists to the classic mojito

A refreshing addition to any outdoor summer party, try these delicious drink recipes to shake things up

According to a recent poll of almost 1,300 culinary professionals surveyed by the National Restaurant Association on "What's Hot for 2008", we'll be sipping craft beers and mojitos this year. For a taste of the latest trend, try these four recipes for Bacardi Original Mojito, Bee Mojito, Maple Mojito and Razz Mojito, all of which are sure to be big hits at BBQs and Canada Day parties across the country this summer. ##Bacardi Original Mojito## **Ingredients** * 1 Part Bacardi Rum * 3 parts club soda * 12 mint leaves * ½ lime * ½ part sugar **Mixing Instructions** Place 12 mint leaves, ½ part sugar and ½ lime in a glass. Muddle well with pestle. Add BACARDI Rum, top off with club soda. Stir well and garnish with sprigs of mint or lime wheel. ##Bacardi Bee Mojito## **Ingredients** * 1 part Bacardi Rum * 3 parts club soda * 12 mint leaves * ½ fresh squeezed lime juice * 1 tbsp honey **Mixing Instructions** Place 12 mint leaves and crushed ice in a glass. Muddle well with a pestle. Add lime juice, honey and Bacardi; stir well. Top off with club soda, stir and garnish with sprigs of mint or a lime wheel. ##Bacardi Maple Mojito## **Ingredients** * 1 oz. Bacardi Superior Rum * 1 oz. lime juice * 2 ½ tbsp. maple syrup * Garnish with a few sprigs of mint, torn **Mixing Instructions** Fill a shaker with ice and top with Bacardi Superior rum, lime juice and maple syrup. Shake and strain into a glass with ice. Garnish with mint if desired. ##Bacardi Razz Mojito## **Ingredients** * 1 part Bacardi Razz Flavored Rum * 3 parts club soda * 12 mint leaves * ½ lime * ½ parts sugar **Mixing Instructions** Place 12 mint leaves, ½ part sugar and ½ lime in glass. Muddle well with a pestle. Add Bacardi Razz Flavored Rum, top off with club soda, stir well and garnish with a sprig of mint, raspberry and a lime wheel.
