GL Contest: Container/Water Feature Second Place
Saint-Basile, NB, native Adrienne Roy's various aquatic touches land her garden second place

Adrienne “Gus” Roy has been working on this garden for more than 30 years. Its many water features include a rustic wooden “birdhouse” spigot, built by her husband Camille, trailing water into a pond below.
Historical elements range from a 19th-century door to a wall dating back to the earliest business in town. In summer, she spends over 10 hours a day in the garden. “It’s not only a passion; it’s my life,” she says.
