Great holiday centrepiece
Update the classic potted poinsettia with a white arrangement, a perfect fresh centrepiece and hostess gift
No other plant says “holiday” more than potted poinsettias. They make excellent gifts and create an instant show of colour in your home (they’re readily available and inexpensive, to boot).
But there’s more to these potted plants: when clipped, they offer plenty of options, from lush bouquets to mixed posies. For a fresh take on the hostess gift, consider an all-white arrangement in an elegant silver jug.
**Tip:** Poinsettias have a milky sap in their stems, so to prevent the cuttings from wilting, seal the cut ends by holding them briefly over a flame or dipping them in boiling water.
