Maple mascarpone with grilled peach

Guests will savour the sweet flavour and smooth texture of this delicious spread

##INGREDIENTS (makes 1/2 cup)## * 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese * 1 tsp fresh marjoram, chopped * 1/4 cup maple syrup * 1/2 tsp amaretto * 1 firm peach, pitted and halved * 4 almonds, crushed

##INSTRUCTIONS## 1. Combine mascarpone with marjoram in a small bowl, and refrigerate at least one hour. 2. In another bowl, mix together maple syrup and amaretto. 3. Place peaches on a pre-heated grill and cook until they have pronounced grill lines but are still a little firm. 4. Once cooled, chop grilled peaches into small cubes and add half to mascarpone mixture. Mix in almonds. 5. Place mascarpone mixture on a serving dish. Garnish with remaining peach cubes and pour maple syrup mixture on top.
