Picnic Parma Asparagus Spears

Tender asparagus is curtain-call ready when dressed in salt-cured Parma ham and sharp Parmesan

##INGREDIENTS## * 12 asparagus spears, trimmed * 1 tsp olive oil, plus more for drizzling * ¼ cup finely grated Parmesan * 6 thin slices Parma ham, halved lengthwise

##INSTRUCTIONS## 1. Preheat grill to medium-high. Toss asparagus in olive oil and grill, turning occasionally until tender, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. 2. Roll asparagus in grated Parmesan. Wrap a piece of Parma ham around middle of each spear. 3. Lightly drizzle with olive oil, if desired, and serve.
