Autumnal-Inspired Decor

Collected from nature, organic touches liven up every room of your home Photos by Angus Fergusson

**When the evening turns cool**, it’s time to think about bringing the outdoors in—and we don’t just mean the patio furniture. Here are some elegant, organic decor ideas using nature’s offerings. Whether you’re hosting a cocktail party or Thanksgiving dinner, these easy projects will create a welcoming touch. ##High Style Living Room## Liven up your mantel with the beauty of fresh cymbidium orchids (or any graphic bloom) attached to a sinuous vine like kiwi, grape or bittersweet. Arrange a tangle of branches in a collection of small ceramic vases. Attach orchids to the vine with wire and florist tape or a glue gun. Use pine cones in place of blooms for a longer-lasting arrangement. **Tip:** If the arrangement is top heavy, weigh down vases with small rocks.
