Decorating with branches

Bring your autumn garden’s organic texture inside Produced by Suzanne Dimma, Catherine Therrien & Christine Hanlon; Photos by Nancy Tong

Crafted from twigs, a single letter is perfect for decorating the door of a child’s room. Or create a seasonal sentiment by hanging multiple letters that spell “Noel” from a mantel.

instructions: Lay straight, similar-sized twigs on a flat surface in the shape of your chosen letter (we layered a second set of twigs for added interest). Where twigs meet, loop twine around one twig, cross it under and over the second twig, tying a knot. Hang the letter with a loop of twine.
