Fresh tulip arrangements

Enjoy an entire week’s worth of fringed benefits with these bright ideas for arranging parrot tulips Produced by Sabrina Linn; Photos by Andrew Grinton

##Day 3 - Tight Hit## After a few days—especially if exposed to sunlight—cut tulips will open so widely that they almost flatten out. Just before this happens, transfer the best-looking specimens from the original bouquet to a narrower, cylindrical vessel that will hold the blooms more snugly. Trim the stems so that the flowers rest just above the lip of the vase. *Vase, HomeSense.*
