“The whole thing was dark and overgrown, and the pond was plunked smack-dab in the middle of it all,” says certified landscape designer Kari Renaud of Watermark Gardens, whom Paul hired to tame her urban jungle. “There was no flow.” **Lush plantings around the new waterfall and pond focus on green foliage textures, with subtle colour accents from white astilbes and a red Japanese maple.**
