You have to protect yourself from mosquitoes because of the threat of West Nile. But how can you do it without spraying harsh insecticides into the air? Thankfully, there are lots of environmentally-friendly solutions. Here is a roundup of new natural products to help keep mosquitoes at bay while you're gardening. ## Gentle spray For those who don't want to douse themselves with DEET, there is an alternative. This spray is biodegradeable and made of plant materials. Ingredients include citronella, terpene, tea tree essential oil, organic rosemary, thyme, basil, geranium, and patchouli. *Druide Citronella Insect Repellent, $13, available at MEC.*
