It may be a showpiece now, but when the owners purchased the property, the weedy garden had suffered from years of abandonment. While embarking on a top-to-toe renovation inside the house, they decided to make the 1,600-square-foot yard, a huge asset in an area where gardens are usually tiny or non-existent, an equally high priority. The owners enlisted landscape architect Stuart Webster of Stuart Webster Design to create a more structured space with a focus on entertaining. **The clean, square lines of the water feature, surrounded by bright pink cosmos and blue fescues, are echoed by the sitting area’s benches and simple slatted table.**
