Spring container designs

Kick-start the season with magnificent container designs by Paul Zammit of Plant World Photos by Laura Arise

**Triple-decker** Wispy leatherleaf sedges add height and last through winter in this trio of bold containers. Vivid orange tulips, red- and gold-kissed primroses and hints of brown in the violas accentuate the burnt red pots. Yellow daffodils and creeping Jenny tie all three together. Lily bulbs planted eight inches deep will emerge in June for gorgeous summer bouquets. **SUMMER UPDATE** Replace the tulips and primroses (plant them in your garden) with begonias and ivy.
