**Citrusy fresh**
Square metal planters and creamy plantings combine for a contemporary look. Over time, the containers will develop an attractive patina. A lush green base of Scotch moss and ivy sets off the monotone tulips, pansies and African daisies. Tall stems of yellow-twig dogwood pull the look together while a smaller pot featuring a spiky sedge and Scotch moss finishes off the display.
**SUMMER UPDATE** Keep it simple by adding begonias and chartreuse coleus
to the ivy. The dogwood is terrific in spring, fall and winter but tends to
brown in summer.
